Job summary

Together AI is seeking a Strategic Finance Senior Associate to own the cost base of our data center build-outs and serve as the financial counterpart to the Infrastructure Strategy team in San Francisco.

You will build budgets, track variance, model total cost of ownership, and evaluate site economics, partnering with Infrastructure Engineering to convert technical plans into finance-ready insights.

Qualifications

• Experience with data center capex, cost modeling, and budgeting for large-scale infrastructure.
• Ability to distill complex build-outs into key financial drivers.
• Strong track record in managing budget-to-actual across multi-site programs.

Responsibilities

• Own the cost base and forecast for data center builds, including non-recurring costs, hardware capex, and Opex.
• Validate build-outs against plan and explain variances with drivers.
• Maintain unit cost of owned capacity on a dollars-per-GPU-hour basis for pricing and capital allocation.
• Evaluate new data center opportunities with economics including prepays, financing, and total cost of ownership.
• Translate hardware delivery timelines into cash forecast and track prepays.
• Build dashboards and reporting to show committed capital, spend, and forecast-to-complete by site.
