Gilder Search Group is seeking a Senior Analyst, Strategic Finance to join a fast-growing eCommerce retailer in the jewelry space. The role supports the Head of Strategic Finance and partners with Commercial and Product Development leadership to turn data into actionable insights that drive business decisions.

The ideal candidate comes from IB/PE/consulting or in-house strategic finance, with strong modeling and AI skills, and a drive to build out AI-powered finance workflows.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in IB, PE, management consulting, equity research, or in-house strategic finance.
• Strong financial modeling skills and advanced Excel/PowerPoint.
• Above-average AI skills; comfortable using AI tools for faster analysis and reporting.
• Ability to interpret complex data and make actionable recommendations to leadership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to engage senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze performance vs forecasts and translate into actionable insights.
• Build and improve financial models, processes, and reporting.
• Own budgets for Marketing, Commercial, Operations, and Merchandising, tracking actuals vs forecast.
• Identify cost efficiency opportunities and track impact of changes.
• Prepare and deliver performance presentations to senior leadership.
• Support broader data transformation and improved data management.
