Ignite Digital is seeking a highly experienced Senior Strategic Communications/Change Management Specialist to lead enterprise-wide communication and change management strategies in support of a major U.S. Navy initiative in the Norfolk, VA area.

The Senior Specialist will advise senior leadership, guide large-scale change efforts, and oversee a team of professionals to ensure high-quality deliverables. The role requires 10+ years in strategic communications/change management, executive-level

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in strategic communications and/or change management.
• Proven experience leading large-scale organizational change initiatives.
• Experience managing teams of communication and change professionals.
• Expert-level knowledge of communications principles and change management methodologies.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise communication and change strategies within large organizations.
• Strong leadership and ability to influence senior leaders.
• Excellent executive communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of strategic communication and change management strategies across the organization.
• Provide expert counsel to senior Navy leadership and program stakeholders on communication approaches, change management strategies, and organizational impacts.
• Oversee, manage, and mentor a team of communication and change management professionals, ensuring high-quality outputs aligned with project goals.
• Guide the planning, creation, and dissemination of communication products to inform, engage, and support stakeholders throughout complex transformation initiatives.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure communication and change management activities complement technical, operational, and organizational objectives.
• Drive stakeholder engagement and adoption strategies for large-scale change initiatives.
