Ignite Digital in the Norfolk, VA area seeks a Senior Strategic Communications/Change Management Specialist to lead enterprise‑wide communication and change efforts for a major U.S. Navy initiative. The role guides senior leadership and ensures consistent messaging across levels.

The position oversees a team of communications professionals, providing strategic counsel to Navy stakeholders and driving adoption of large‑scale transformations. A DoW SECRET clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of strategic communications and/or change management.
• Proven experience leading large-scale organizational change initiatives.
• Experience managing teams of communications professionals.
• Executive communication abilities, including briefing senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of strategic communication and change management strategies across the organization.
• Provide expert counsel to senior Navy leadership and program stakeholders on communication approaches and organizational impacts.
• Oversee, manage, and mentor a team of communication and change management professionals.
• Guide the planning, creation, and dissemination of communication products to inform and engage stakeholders.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure activities align with objectives.
• Drive stakeholder engagement and adoption strategies for large-scale change initiatives.
