Qualifications

• BA or BS degree.
• 5+ years in educational or enterprise sales.
• Own strategic account plans with long-term revenue accountability.
• Strong background in high-level negotiations.
• Strong analytical, written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Understanding of higher-education financial/academic decision-making.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce CRM.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex contract negotiations with senior academic and admin leaders.
• Own account strategy and forecast for each institution; develop multi-year plans.
• Strategically identify high-impact opportunities aligning with client objectives.
• Develop financial models aligning CU benefits with budgets and retention goals.
• Drive new business by executive-level engagement, research, and outreach.
• Grow revenue and renewals through upsell and expansion with Solutions Specialists.
• Articulate value of Cengage products for affordability and student outcomes.
