Job summary

The Port of Seattle is seeking a Senior Environmental Program Manager to lead and oversee stormwater management for the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA). You will guide staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and direct projects addressing water quality and stormwater infrastructure within Port policies.

The role requires strong leadership, regulatory know-how, and coordination with regulators, airport operations, and consultants to deliver compliant environmental outcomes.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in environmental and/or sustainability, including two years in lead, mentor or supervisory roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management and compliance of stormwater programs at SEA, including NPDES and WA stormwater requirements.
• Provide strategic and technical leadership during planning, design, and construction of capital projects with respect to stormwater.
• Act as SEA’s technical expert on stormwater regulations and water quality requirements.
• Negotiate with regulators, tenants, consultants, and internal departments; represent SEA during inspections and permit discussions.
• Manage consultants and outside services: scope, budget, schedule, deliverables.
