Job summary

The Port of Seattle is seeking a practiced Aviation Facilities & Infrastructure Senior Engineer – Energy Manager to drive energy management programs across airport facilities. You will oversee asset management, regulatory compliance, and energy software platforms, acting as an energy policy subject matter expert.

Qualifications

  • Ten years of experience with infrastructure planning, design, integration, modeling, maintenance, construction, and project management related to facilities.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and active listening communication skills.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer. Bachelor’s degree may substitute four years of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, plan, and implement facility-wide energy management programs and policies as the subject matter expert for energy management infrastructure and systems.
  • Prepare information for executive leadership related to regulatory initiatives and energy management policy.
  • Oversee energy management software applications (Energy Star Portfolio Manager, Clean Building Portal, Meter Data Management Systems, Energy Management Systems).
  • Develop asset management program for energy management policy and act as owner of asset condition and capacity.
  • Conduct annual inventory and verification for regulatory requirements and develop renewal programs.
