Job summary

The Port of Seattle is seeking an Aviation Facilities & Infrastructure Senior Engineer to coordinate capital and expense projects and act as an energy‑management subject‑matter expert. You will lead energy programs, oversee software platforms, and shape asset strategies for long‑term infrastructure renewal and compliance to regulatory requirements.

With a Professional Engineering license and a decade of related experience, you will guide cross‑functional teams, mentor staff, and ensure projects

Qualifications

• Experienced – ten years in infrastructure planning, design, integration, modeling, maintenance, construction, and project management.
• Professional Engineering license required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred; substitution allowed for years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct multiple capital and expense projects.
• Lead energy management programs, policies, and compliance for airport facilities.
• Prepare information for executive leadership on regulatory initiatives.
• Oversee energy management software applications and asset management policy.
• Develop preventative maintenance programs for energy infrastructure.
• Ensure design guidelines and standards across facility and infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with planning and capital development to align schedules with life cycle goals.
• Provide construction administration for large capital projects (submittals, RFIs, site observations).
