Carollo Engineers, a leading water-focused engineering firm in the United States, seeks a senior stormwater/water resources leader in California. You will drive growth, lead 1D/2D modeling applications, and direct full design projects for urban stormwater infrastructure.

Applicants bring 8–10 years of stormwater experience, a California license (or ability to obtain), and proficiency with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and GIS tools.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Agricultural Engineering or other appropriate engineering major.
• 8-10 years of experience relating to stormwater and water resources projects.
• A California engineering license or the ability to obtain one within 12 months.
• Extensive expertise in leading planning and design of urban stormwater management solutions.
• Familiarity with HEC-RAS (1D/2D), HEC-HMS, InfoWorks ICM, FLO-2D, XPSWMM, ArcGIS, and Civil 3D.
• Experience with selecting and optimizing multi-benefit urban stormwater projects.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsabilidades

• Expand Carollo’s presence in the local stormwater market via targeted business development strategies.
• Support local growth with Stormwater Client Service Leads and develop strategies for continued stormwater growth and innovation.
• Lead the application of hydraulic and hydrologic modeling in urban settings to support planning and design of infrastructure.
• Lead detailed design projects including contract documents, calculations, and reports.
• Collaborate with other disciplines and scientists on assignments.
• Some travel within California and potential travel outside California for national efforts.
