Job summary

A leading infrastructure consulting firm in Sacramento is seeking a Civil Engineer to prepare designs and project plans for a variety of civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have a BS degree, a P.E. or EIT license in California, and over 5 years of experience in hydrology and hydraulics, especially in stormwater management. Qualifications

• 5+ years of hydrology/hydraulics or water/wastewater/stormwater experience.
• QSP/D certification is a plus.
• Extensive stormwater drainage experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare designs, plans, estimates, and technical reports for civil engineering projects.
• Review permit applications and conduct hydrologic/hydraulic analyses.
• Inspect projects for regulatory compliance and supervise staff.

As an engineer on our team, you will focus on preparing designs, plans, estimates, and technical reports for civil engineering projects, with an emphasis on drainage design, stormwater compliance, surveying, and construction oversight. Responsibilities also include reviewing permit applications, conducting hydrologic/hydraulic analyses, inspecting projects for regulatory compliance, and supervising staff.
