Job summary

The City of Greenwood Village is hiring Code Enforcement Officers and Senior Stormwater Inspectors to protect zoning, health, and safety standards. You will investigate violations, educate violators, issue notices, and support legal actions when required.

Senior staff handle complex cases, coordinate with Public Works and external partners, and mentor junior officers while working in a dynamic, public-facing environment.

Qualifications

• One year of code enforcement or related experience.
• Ability to obtain required certifications after hire.
• Understanding of zoning, grading, drainage and nuisance codes.

Responsibilities

• Investigate complaints and ensure resolution of code violations.
• Issue notices, warnings, and summonses; assist legal staff as needed.
• Maintain case files, records, and prepare correspondence.
• Inspect grading, erosion, and site work for compliance.
• Coordinate actions with residents, businesses, and partners.
