Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking an experienced Store Manager to supervise the front-end team and pharmacy/retail operations.

You will lead recruitment, coaching, and performance management to ensure teams deliver exceptional customer service and meet company goals. You will collaborate with the Store Manager to optimize store performance, manage scheduling, and ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements across all departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Walgreens internship program, or HS diploma with two years of supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated leadership, professional ethics, strong communication skills and business acumen.
• Completion of Store Manager training program (LEAP) or Walgreens Leadership Essentials within 12 weeks for eligible internal candidates.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Supervises front-end and designated team members to ensure smooth store operations and profitability.
• Manages scheduling, opens/closes shifts, and approves time records and time off.
• Leads recruitment, coaching, performance management, and disciplinary actions for direct reports.
• Supports Store Manager with store strategy, and drives data-driven decisions for sales growth and customer satisfaction.
• Ensures compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements across store activities.
