Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking an experienced architect/designer to design remodel and new store projects. You will develop options, assess site feasibility, and present cost-conscious plans that align with brand guidelines.

The role involves coordinating with internal teams, maintaining scope matrices, and visiting sites to ensure actionable, accurate plans. Ideal candidates bring 5–7 years of design/remodel experience, strong Revit and AutoCAD skills, and a collaborative, detail-oriented

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Design or similar.
5–7 years of experience in design or remodeling projects.
Proficient in Revit BIM software and AutoCAD.
Proficient in Adobe InDesign.
3D CAD experience preferred but not required.
High accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong drive for continuous improvement and change management.
Highly collaborative and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

Design options that meet or improve the site budget and prepare presentations for review and approval.
Incorporate site characteristics into store design for enhanced environments at favorable costs.
Utilize store design guidelines for exterior and interior development and influence evolution.
Ensure proposed sites and structures are feasible for required modifications.
Facilitate discussions with internal stakeholders for shared understanding of site options.
Maintain Remodel scope prioritization matrix and cost estimates.
Log architectural, fixture, display, and merchandising elements for remodel scopes.
Conduct site visits with stakeholders and incorporate findings into plans.
Build and archive studies including shell plans, elevations, and feasibility analyses.
