Job summary

Resource Informatics Group, Inc is seeking a systems administrator to monitor platform health for System Automation subsystems and Storage Administration across development, test, QA, and production environments.

You will respond to incidents and alerts, participate in planning, testing, and troubleshooting, and analyze failures from logs to identify root causes. You will execute approved changes, maintain availability, and support annual Z/OS upgrades across all environments.

Qualifications

• Must monitor platform health across multiple environments (dev/test/QA/prod).
• Respond to incidents and alerts with timely problem determination and resolution.
• Engage in planning, testing and troubleshooting of System Automation, Storage, IWS, and DR.
• Analyze failures by reviewing logs and messages to identify root cause and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor platform health for System Automation subsystems and Storage Administration across development, test, QA, and production environments.
• Respond to incidents and alerts impacting System Automation, Storage Administration and IWS, providing timely problem determination and resolution.
• Work with staff on planning, testing, and troubleshooting issues related to System Automation, Storage Administration, IWS, and Disaster Recovery.
• Analyze failures and errors by reviewing logs, job output, and system messages to identify root cause and corrective actions.
• Execute approved changes for System Automation and IWS in accordance with change management standards.
• Maintain availability and data integrity, ensuring services remain stable and recoveries are completed correctly.
• Support annual software upgrades for Z/OS across all environments.
