Job summary

Railway is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to design and implement robust storage systems for high reliability. You'll be responsible for evolving production Ceph clusters and creating APIs for live migrations, all while collaborating within a unique startup culture that values autonomy and ownership.

Qualifications

• Experience architecting and implementing distributed systems.

• Ability to navigate ambiguity in an early-stage startup.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve multiple production Ceph clusters.
• Create efficient APIs for live-migration of stateful workloads.
• Build orchestration services tying storage to higher-level primitives.
• Document Engineering Requirements for solutions.
• Design storage primitives for customer applications.
