Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to design and deploy storage management systems for worldwide design teams. You will collaborate with hardware and software engineers to build scalable storage solutions in Perl and Python, focusing on efficiency and reliability.

The role requires a strong Linux background, knowledge of distributed storage concepts, and the ability to drive architectural decisions from data. 5+ years of experience and a CS-related degree are expected.

Qualifications

Development background in Linux software and distributed storage systems.
Solid understanding of volumes, snapshots, clones, and deduplication.
Ability to drive architectural decisions from data and estimates.
Strong collaboration with peers and customers.
Experience with Perl and Python.
BS or MS in CS or related field with 5+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with HW and SW teams to define new features for distributed storage systems.
Develop scalable storage management solutions in Perl and Python.
Work closely with team members and internal customers to optimize workflow efficiency and scalability.
Drive improvements to SW design and test processes to improve velocity and quality.
Directly contribute to time-to-market for our next generation HW products and technologies.
