Job summary

NVIDIA’s Hardware Infrastructure organization seeks a senior software development engineer to build and deploy storage management systems for worldwide design teams in California. You will collaborate with HW and SW engineers to define features and implement scalable, distributed storage solutions using Perl and Python.

Responsibilities include optimizing workflows, driving design decisions from data, and improving testing processes to accelerate time to market for next‑gen hardware.

Qualifications

• Development background in Linux software development for storage and distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of storage concepts (volumes, snapshots, clones, deduplication).
• Ability to drive architecture decisions using data and cost/performance tradeoffs.
• Ability to collaborate with peers and customers to align on testing and adoption plans.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with HW and SW engineering teams to define new features for distributed software storage systems.
• Craft and develop scalable, distributed storage management solutions in Perl and Python.
• Work with team members and customers to optimize workflow efficiency and scalability.
• Drive improvements to design and test processes to boost velocity and production quality.
• Contribute to time-to-market improvements for next-generation HW products.
