Job summary

NVIDIA’s Hardware Infrastructure organization seeks a senior software development engineer to design and deploy storage management software for worldwide design teams. You will work with HW and SW engineers to create scalable, distributed storage solutions using Perl and Python.

Applicants should have a Linux development background, strong storage concepts knowledge, and the ability to drive architecture decisions with data. Equity and benefits are part of the compensation package.

Qualifications

Development background in Linux software development, storage systems and networked distributed systems.
Solid understanding of storage concepts such as volumes, snapshots, clones, and deduplication.
Ability to drive architectural design decisions from data and estimates to balance cost, performance, reliability, and scalability.
Ability to collaborate with peers and customers to align on testing and adoption plans.
Experience with Perl and Python development.

Responsibilities

Define new features for distributed software storage systems with HW/SW teams.
Develop scalable, distributed storage management solutions in Perl and Python.
Collaborate with internal customers to optimize workflow efficiency and scalability.
Improve SW design and test processes to raise velocity and quality.
Contribute to time-to-market for next-gen hardware products.
