Job summary

NVIDIA in Santa Clara is seeking a senior software engineer to design and build the next-generation storage platform software services that support 24/7/365 availability for NVIDIA's engineering teams. You will lead the design of storage infrastructure, develop expansive REST APIs in Python or Go, and implement automation for large-scale design-storage environments.

The role requires strong background in distributed backend systems, Docker/Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and telemetry stacks.

Qualifications

BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience with 8+ years of relevant experience; MS 5+ years; PhD 3+ years.
Experience building and owning large-scale, multi-threaded distributed backend systems.
Experience designing and building REST APIs in Python or Go.
Background with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud).
Background with telemetry stacks (Grafana, Prometheus, AlertManager, Kibana).
Strong collaboration and influence in a dynamic matrix environment.

Responsibilities

Define, Build, and manage an enterprise software platform to manage storage infrastructure and services.
Design and expand REST APIs used across engineering workflows.
Build and integrate provisioning, metrics, monitoring, and software to enable management workflows for storage services.
Develop tooling to automate deployment and management of large-scale design-storage environments and self-service resources.
Document procedures, evaluate technologies, and coordinate system orders and deployments.
