Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking a Storage Engineer to support the DIA CIO Infrastructure Services program in Chantilly, VA.

The role focuses on designing and maintaining enterprise storage architectures, collaborating with government stakeholders, and performing analyses of alternatives to guide technology decisions. Qualified candidates hold TS/SCI with poly, and NCDA certification; extensive storage design, disaster recovery, and performance-metrics experience is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a TS/SCI clearance with poly.
• DOD 8140 Certification applicable to role (Security+ or higher).
• 4+ years designing, integrating, validating, and implementing IT hardware/software solutions.
• Experience in storage design concepts, throughput, and security.

Responsibilities

• Analyze software versions, patches, and upgrades for compliance and timelines.
• Incorporate data security of data at rest and in transit into designs and tests.
• Design disaster recovery plans and backup/archive procedures.
• Create reports and metrics for performance and data usage.
• Test and facilitate accreditation (IATT/ATO) for new solutions.
• Develop wiring diagrams, SOPs, and installation procedures.
• Collaborate with Operations and Government stakeholders to refine requirements.
• Research AoAs for new technologies and conduct trade-off analyses.
• Incorporate capacity and service-level metrics into designs.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting for VDI components and IT infrastructure.
