Qualifications

• 8+ years of storage systems engineering experience.
• Proven background in distributed storage products, especially Ceph.
• Strong Linux proficiency and scripting (Python, Bash).
• Experience with virtualization and containerization (KVM, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Develop features for Vultr's storage products focused on reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations to define requirements.
• Manage day-to-day health of storage platforms including troubleshooting.
• Create reference implementations and training materials.
• Lead POC initiatives and performance testing.
• Develop automation tools for deployment and ops.
• Maintain knowledge articles and runbooks.
• Promote storage design and ops best practices.
