Job summary

Innovative Tech Solutions Inc is seeking a talented Storage Engineer to design, manage, and optimize enterprise storage infrastructure in Plano, TX. You will support mission-critical systems, maintain SAN/NAS environments, and collaborate with IT and DevOps to meet application needs.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of storage engineering experience, hands-on SAN/NAS with Dell EMC/NetApp/Pure Storage, and strong knowledge of iSCSI, Fibre Channel, and NFS/CIFS, plus cloud storage familiarity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in storage engineering or a related IT infrastructure role.
• Hands-on experience with SAN/NAS technologies (Dell EMC, NetApp, Pure Storage, or similar).
• Proficiency with storage protocols including iSCSI, Fibre Channel, and NFS/CIFS.
• Experience with cloud storage solutions (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of data backup, replication, and disaster recovery concepts.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., EMC Proven Professional, NetApp NCDA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise storage systems and infrastructure.
• Monitor storage performance, capacity, and availability to ensure optimal uptime.
• Manage SAN, NAS, and object storage environments across on-premises and cloud platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve storage-related incidents and performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to support storage needs for new and existing applications.
• Develop and maintain documentation for storage architecture, configurations, and procedures.
• Implement data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
