Innovative Tech Solutions Inc in Plano, TX is seeking a Storage Engineer to design, manage, and optimize enterprise storage infrastructure powering mission-critical systems. You will work across SAN, NAS, and object storage in on-prem and cloud environments, ensuring uptime and performance.

The role requires 3+ years in storage engineering, hands-on SAN/NAS experience, and knowledge of backup and disaster recovery. Certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in storage engineering or related IT infra role.
• Hands-on with SAN/NAS technologies (Dell EMC, NetApp, Pure Storage).
• Proficiency with iSCSI, Fibre Channel, and NFS/CIFS.
• Experience with cloud storage solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Strong backup, replication, and disaster recovery knowledge.
• Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., EMC Proven Professional, NetApp NCDA).
• Excellent problem-solving skills; able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise storage systems and infrastructure.
• Monitor storage performance, capacity, and availability to ensure uptime.
• Manage SAN, NAS, and object storage across on-premises and cloud.
• Troubleshoot storage incidents and bottlenecks; collaborate with IT/DevOps.
• Develop and maintain documentation for storage architecture and procedures.
• Implement data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
