Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions is seeking a Senior II, Systems Engineer to manage enterprise storage, backup/recovery, and hybrid cloud infrastructure. You will optimize data protection, drive automation, and collaborate across teams to ensure high availability, security, and compliance.

The role demands hands-on expertise with storage arrays, backup platforms, and cloud integration, supporting a broad enterprise data management strategy and roadmap.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Hands-on storage, backup, and hybrid cloud expertise.
• Experience with Dell Unity/PowerStore/PowerScale and Commvault or similar.
• Experience with automation tools and IaC (Terraform/Ansible).
• Knowledge of WORM/immutable storage and ransomware protection.

Responsibilities

• Provide input to project plans for storage, backup, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Monitor alerts and resolve storage, backup, and data protection issues.
• Administer enterprise storage arrays and backup/recovery solutions.
• Design and manage cloud storage/backups on Azure and AWS.
• Develop automation workflows and IaC for provisioning and data protection.
• Lead architecture planning for storage and data protection initiatives.
