Job summary

UNICON International Inc. is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Architect/Engineer to own SAN, NAS, block-storage, backup, monitoring, automation, and infrastructure-service operations. You will lead incident response, RCA, and recovery validation while coordinating hands-on data-center work and upgrades.

Strong Dell/NX-OS expertise and vendor coordination are required. The role emphasizes architecture documentation, runbooks, and DR exercises, with 4 days onsite per week in Greensboro, NC.

Responsibilities

• Own storage, backup, monitoring, automation, and infrastructure-service operations lifecycle.
• Lead incident response, RCA, backup validity, vulnerability remediation, and service restoration.
• Coordinate hands-on data-center work: hardware, rack/stack, cabling, RMA, remote hands, vendor coordination.
• Plan storage and backup upgrades, capacity reviews, replication, recovery tests, and corrective actions.
• Maintain runbooks, architecture docs, and cross-training for DR exercises.
• Provide oversight of vendor/MSP support, escalation, and change validation.
