Job summary
Workiy Inc. is seeking a Senior Storage Engineer (L3) for Backup & Recovery to lead enterprise backup operations across hybrid environments.
The role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing backup and recovery solutions with IBM Storage Protect, IBM Storage Defender Data Protect, Commvault, and Rubrik. You will act as the highest level technical escalation for storage-related issues, help ensure DR readiness, cyber resilience, and business continuity, while collaborating with security
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with IBM Storage Protect/Spectrum Protect (TSM).
- Experience with IBM Storage Defender Data Protect, Commvault, and Rubrik backup solutions.
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell or Python and automation focus.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, administer and optimize enterprise backup and recovery solutions.
- Lead backup and recovery initiatives and serve as technical escalation point (L3).
- Develop recovery strategies and DR testing plans for hybrid environments.
- Automate backup processes and maintain technical documentation.
- Ensure cyber resilience and ransomware protection in storage practices.
