Swift is seeking a storage and automation engineer in Virginia for our Platform Tribe Storage squad. You will develop scripts, build tooling, and integrate systems to deliver reliable infrastructure services at scale, collaborating with security, operations, and application teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, Linux, APIs, and CI/CD practices, with opportunities to improve monitoring, reporting, and automation as part of a global, on-site team in Culpeper, VA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on development or scripting experience in infrastructure tooling.
• Experience with Python, Bash, PowerShell, Go or JavaScript (3–6 yrs).
• Knowledge of Linux, networking, DNS and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tooling to improve infrastructure delivery.
• Create dashboards and self-service capabilities for operations and monitoring.
• Partner with senior engineers to translate requirements into automation.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and code reviews for automation projects.
