Senior Storage Administrator

The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Senior Storage Administrator to serve as the primary point of contact in the planning, implementation, management and optimization of data storage solutions within USSTRATCOM’s IT environment. This role requires advanced technical expertise and leadership capabilities to ensure the integrity, availability and security of data storage systems that support critical military operations.

The work location for this position is Omaha, Nebraska. The position is contingent upon award of the United States Strategic Command SCITLS contract.

Responsibilities:

Storage Administrator, Senior:

  • Manages implementation, management, and optimization of enterprise storage systems

  • Deploys, configures, and maintains storage systems

  • Manages storage arrays, disk provisioning, and zoning for optimal performance

  • Monitors storage capacity and plans for future growth to ensure uninterrupted services

  • Designs and manages backup and disaster recovery solutions to protect critical data

  • Troubleshoots and resolves issues related to data recovery and system integrity

  • Analyzes and optimizes storage performance by fine-tuning configurations and balancing workloads

  • Generates reports on storage usage, performance, and incidents

  • Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments

  • Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments

  • May supervise others

Qualifications:

  • Top Secret with SCI Eligibility

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in data storage administration, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role

  • Proven experience in managing enterprise-level storage solutions in a military or government environment

  • Required 8140 Cert within 6 months of start date: 451 - Intermediate; Cloud+ or GICSP or SSCP or Security+ or GSEC; OR Applicable degree ABET accredited/CAE designated; OR Training

AND

  • Additional Cert: NetApp Certified Professional or NetApp Certified Expert

  • Strong knowledge of storage technologies (e.g., EMC, NetApp, IBM, cloud storage solutions).

  • Proficiency in data protection technologies, including backup software and disaster recovery planning.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a mission-critical environment

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$65,000 - $136,500
