The Opportunity

CACI is seeking a Senior Storage Administrator to serve as the primary point of contact for planning, implementing, managing, and optimizing data storage solutions within USSTRATCOM’s IT environment. This role requires advanced technical expertise and leadership to ensure the integrity, availability, and security of data storage systems supporting critical military operations.

The work location is Omaha, Nebraska, contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities

• Manage enterprise storage system implementation, management, and optimization
• Deploy, configure, and maintain storage systems
• Manage storage arrays, disk provisioning, and zoning for performance
• Monitor storage capacity and plan for growth
• Design and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Troubleshoot data recovery and system integrity issues
• Optimize storage performance and generate usage reports
• Possess and apply comprehensive knowledge across key tasks
• Function as a technical expert and possibly supervise others

Qualifications

• Top Secret with SCI eligibility
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• At least 7 years of data storage administration experience, with 3+ in a senior role
• Experience managing enterprise storage in military or government settings
• 8140 Certification within 6 months (e.g., Security+, Cloud+, GICSP, SSCP, GSEC)
• Additional certifications such as NetApp Certified Professional or Expert
• Strong knowledge of storage technologies (EMC, NetApp, IBM, cloud storage)
• Proficiency in backup and disaster recovery technologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills in mission-critical environments

Compensation
