Baylor Scott & White Health in Texas is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician 2 to prepare, sterilize and distribute instrument sets for patient care. You will mentor entry-level staff, maintain inventory, and ensure compliance with safety and infection control guidelines while delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Formación

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in sterile processing preferred.
• Certification in CBSPD, CRCST, CSPDT, or CST required.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and arrange rooms with instruments, equipment, trays and supplies based on department needs.
• Clean instruments and equipment using approved detergents and disinfectants; operate sterilization equipment per guidelines.
• Manage inventory by ordering, replenishing and distributing instruments and reusable medical equipment for general and surgical use.
• Follow safety, environmental, and infection control rules to uphold patient care and office standards.
• Share skills with the team and mentor entry-level Sterile Processing staff.
