Job summary

Qualifications

• 3 years' experience in sterile processing.
• Certified Registered Central Service Technician credential or eligible per policy.
• Grand-fathering provision showing 1 year Central Service Technician work between 2011-2015.
• Certification required within 18 months of hire if not grand-fathering.
• Sterile Processing certification required within 18 months after employment if Hard to Fill is used.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sterile processing staff and mentor junior members.
• Resolve complex issues and provide guidance to team.
• May train new employees and ensure compliance with department standards.
• Process and supply sterile goods to hospital and affiliates, including decontamination, packaging, and sterilization.
• Maintain supplies and equipment and ensure clean, organized work areas.
