Job summary

RNGD seeks a Senior Preconstruction Manager – Steel to lead the steel preconstruction and estimating team, guiding conceptual to final estimates for structural and miscellaneous steel.

You will partner with Business Development, design partners, Detailing and VDC, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Field Operations to align client goals with RNGD capabilities and project execution needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead steel preconstruction and estimating team day-to-day operations.
• Oversee conceptual and final estimating for structural & miscellaneous steel.
• Coordinate design-build and design-assist pursuits with clients and partners.
• Develop budgets, cost models, and labor/production assumptions.
• Identify value-engineering opportunities and drive constructability improvements.
• Handoff awarded projects to project management with clear scope and risks.
