Job summary

RNGD is seeking a Structural Steel Project Manager to lead structural and miscellaneous steel projects from contract award through detailing, fabrication, delivery, erection, and closeout. This role owns scope, schedule, budget, documentation, and stakeholder coordination to ensure safe, profitable, on-time delivery.

You will serve as the primary liaison among clients, general contractors, design partners, detailing/VDC, procurement, steel manufacturing, logistics, field leadership, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive project management experience in structural/steel fabrication and erection.
• Knowledge of steel project delivery, detailing, procurement, fabrication, coatings, delivery sequencing, and field erection.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, subcontracting, and reporting.
• Coordinate detailing, fabrication, delivery, and erection sequencing across teams and partners.
• Manage risks, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and closeout documentation.
• Lead meetings, communicate decisions, and drive recovery actions when needed.
• Oversee client, partner, and internal team communications to ensure predictable delivery.
