Job summary
RNGD is seeking a Senior Preconstruction Manager – Steel to lead RNGD's steel preconstruction team, guiding conceptual estimating, design-build and design-assist coordination, and the development of competitive, executable solutions for structural and miscellaneous steel projects.
You will collaborate across Business Development, detailing, VDC, procurement, and field operations to align client objectives with RNGD's fabrication capabilities and project delivery requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in construction management, engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years in structural/miscellaneous steel estimating or preconstruction.
- Experience leading teams on major steel pursuits.
- Experience with conceptual estimating and design-build/design-assist delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day steel preconstruction operations and team workload.
- Review estimates, pricing, and qualifications before submission.
- Develop budgets, cost models, and labor assumptions.
- Coordinate with design partners, BD, detailing, and fabrication teams.
- Drive value engineering and early issue resolution.
