Job summary

ANSER is seeking a highly experienced Senior Statistician/Mathematician to support DIA intelligence and AI assurance through advanced statistical modeling and rigorous evaluation of analytic and AI system performance.

The role involves developing quantitative models, performance metrics, TEVV protocols, and communicating findings to technical and nontechnical stakeholders, with a focus on reliability and risk analysis in national security contexts.

Qualifications

• Strong background in statistical modeling and mathematical analysis.
• Experience applying statistical methods to complex intelligence or technical problems.
• Ability to develop models, performance metrics, and analytical methodologies.
• Experience building code to automate data collection, processing, modeling, and analysis.
• Ability to communicate quantitative findings to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Apply advanced statistical and mathematical methods to solve complex intelligence and AI assurance problems.
• Collect, organize, validate, and prepare numerical data for analysis and modeling.
• Develop statistical and mathematical models for analysis, simulation, and performance evaluation.
• Design metrics and methodologies using baselines, historical data, testing, and experimental design.
• Process large datasets and write code to automate data workflows.
• Review QA documentation for accuracy, rigor, and analytic standards.
• Develop methods to evaluate AI performance, robustness, fairness, and reliability.
• Design and run TEVV protocols and analyze results for improvements and risks.
• Conduct audits and analyze metrics to identify trends and opportunities.
• Produce graphs, tables, and written assessments documenting findings and recommendations.
• Present quantitative findings to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
