Job summary

ANSER seeks a Statistician/Mathematician to support DIA intelligence and AI assurance via advanced statistical modeling and rigorous TEVV evaluation. You will develop quantitative methodologies and performance metrics for testing and data-driven decision making.

The role requires a TS/SCI security clearance with CI polygraph, a Master’s degree with 12+ years (or Bachelor’s with 17+ years) of relevant experience, and a track record of applying statistical theory to complex problems.

Qualifications

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with extensive relevant experience as specified by the role.
  • Demonstrated expertise applying advanced statistical theories to complex problems.
  • Experience developing models, metrics, and quantitative methodologies.
  • Ability to communicate quantitative findings to technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Experience reviewing analytic documentation for rigor and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Apply advanced statistical and mathematical methods to solve complex intelligence and AI problems.
  • Collect, organize, validate, and prepare numerical data for analysis and modeling.
  • Develop statistical models for analysis, simulation, testing, and evaluation.
  • Design metrics and methodologies using baselines, historical data, and experimental design.
  • Process large datasets and automate data collection, processing, and analysis.
  • Evaluate AI system performance, robustness, and fairness; support TEVV protocols.
  • Review documentation for accuracy and technical rigor; communicate findings to stakeholders.
