Job summary

WCG Clinical, Inc. is seeking a Senior Statistical Programmer to develop, validate, and document SAS programs for clinical trial data analysis and regulatory submissions. You will lead programming activities, ensure regulatory-compliant deliverables, and mentor junior programmers.

The role requires 5+ years of SAS programming, 2 years macro programming, and strong CDISC knowledge, with experience in Phase 1–4 trials. Remote work available in the US at this time.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• SAS Certification preferred.
• At least 5 years of SAS programming experience.
• 2 years of macro programming experience.
• 3+ years in pharmaceutical, vaccines, biotech, or medical device industry.
• Phase 1–4 clinical trials experience.
• In-depth CDISC knowledge.
• Understanding of SAP programming specifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and document SAS programs for clinical trial datasets (SDTM, ADaM) and outputs for regulatory submission.
• Lead programming activities and manage resources, timelines, and priorities.
• Conduct quality control checks and peer code reviews on all programming deliverables.
• Collaborate with statisticians, data managers, and clinical teams to meet project requirements.
• Oversee programming activities for studies or projects, including budgeting and timelines.
• Mentor junior programmers on industry standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot programming and data issues to ensure timely data reporting.
