Job summary

EMCOR Government Services has an immediate need for a Stationary Engineer at Eglin Air Force Base, FL. The role oversees safe, efficient operation of mechanical systems and directs shift personnel. Daily tours and inspections are required, with responsibilities spanning boilers, chillers, pumps, and control systems.

This position is covered by the Service Contract Act (SCA) and may require overtime or variable shifts to meet contract obligations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in healthcare facilities.
• 5+ years field experience in commercial mechanical systems operation, repair and maintenance; boiler/chiller/control systems experience desirable.
• Familiarity with plumbing, electric & fire protection systems.
• State of Florida Boiler Operator License or military journeyman level 5+.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain boilers, chillers, pumps, and related systems.
• Respond to service requests and emergencies; inform Project Manager.
• Maintain operating logs and maintenance forms.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and site personnel as needed.
• Overtime and shift work may be required.
