Qualifications

Membership in the Florida Bar is required.
Five (5) years of criminal trial experience are required.

Responsibilities

Review evidence for prosecution of criminal cases.
Submit data and recommendations to take cases for prosecution.
Advise investigating agencies and review warrants and affidavits.
Make charging decisions in consultation with supervisors.
Coordinate with other divisions and agencies for civil or administrative remedies.
Prepare and file charging instruments.
Represent the State at bond hearings, pre-trial motions, and trials.
Maintain case documentation and data entry in the case tracking system.
