Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA and/or Master of Tax preferred.
• 10–12 years of experience with 5+ years in public accounting or corporate tax.
• Deep knowledge of state tax rules and ASC 740 tax accounting.
• Experience with state footprints for large international companies and tax systems.
• Strong communication, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead state and local income tax compliance, research, and planning.
• Manage state/city tax estimates, extensions, and return preparations.
• Ensure timely payments, refunds, and return filings; support audits.
• Review apportionment, nexus, and sourcing analysis; ASC 740 inputs.
• Provide staff supervision, training, and professional development.
