CliftonLarsonAllen in Connecticut ( Shelton area ) is seeking a Tax Director/Manager to join our growing Northeast Tax practice. The role involves consulting with clients on business processes, leading tax engagements, and mentoring team members to support career growth.

The ideal candidate will have CPA certification, 6 years of experience in a large firm, and 10+ years preferred. JD/EA may be accepted in place of CPA. Competitive compensation with ownership of career development opportunities.

Formación

• 6 years of experience in a large professional services or public accounting firm, driving strategic management.
• 10+ years experience highly preferred.
• Active CPA certification required; a JD or EA may be accepted in place of CPA.

Responsabilidades

• Consult with clients on business processes such as succession and tax planning.
• Lead, schedule, supervise, and review tax engagements.
• Develop and train team members to help them build inspired careers.
• Foster and build opportunities for our clients, communities, and people.
• Become an industry professional and attend industry-leading events and trainings.
• Perform a range of tax procedures in accordance with the size and complexity of the engagement.
• Review complex individual and corporate tax returns.

Educación

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field

CPA certification

JD or EA may be accepted in place of CPA
