EisnerAmper, a leading accounting and advisory firm, seeks a Tax Director for the State & Local Tax team in New York. You will handle multistate compliance, residency issues, and tax planning for diverse clients while mentoring staff and contributing to thought leadership initiatives.

The role combines technical tax work with team leadership, collaboration across in-house professionals, and opportunities to drive technology initiatives in a collaborative, diverse environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent field.
• CPA, EA, or JD.
• 10+ years of experience in state taxation.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience.
• Master's degree in Accounting or equivalent (preferred).
• State income tax experience and related planning/analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Multistate consulting and compliance services, including technical review of state/corporate returns with nexus/allocations.
• Residency issues and state tax planning initiatives.
• Sales tax consulting, including nexus and taxability studies.
• Audit defense, research and writing, and due diligence.
• Coordinating with other tax professionals and clients.
• Reviewing pass-through entity issues and investor packages with state K-1s and grids.
