Guidehouse seeks a Senior Consultant to lead consumer protection activities for state and local grant programs in Chicago, plus other locations. You will translate program requirements into policy, manage the full application lifecycle, and help meet client KPIs.

You will mentor junior staff and coordinate with contractors and cross-functional teams to strengthen program operations. The role requires 3+ years in consulting or government-related work, strong analytical and communication skills,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Experience in consulting or government, energy, utilities, public policy, or related fields.
• Experience managing workstreams, analyzing data, and delivering client-facing reports.
• Strong analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead consumer protection activities for state/local grant programs and translate requirements into policies.
• Manage end-to-end application lifecycle and KPI achievement for clients.
• Develop and maintain complaint-resolution procedures and escalation protocols.
• Build relationships with clients and colleagues through strong communication and follow-through.
• Provide day-to-day guidance and review for junior team members and subcontractors.
• Oversee intake, investigation, escalation, and documentation of consumer complaints.
