Apple Inc. in Raleigh, North Carolina, seeks a senior Manager of State Government Affairs for the Southeast to shape policy and strategy and lead Apple’s state-level legislative interactions.

Your state/local government experience and advocacy background will drive engagement with policymakers and key stakeholders. You will design public policy initiatives, manage relationships with legislative offices and trade associations, and communicate complex policy issues clearly.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of government, government relations, or advocacy experience at state/local level.
• Experience leading a portfolio of policy issues and coordinating policy-focused events.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement public policy initiatives and engagement strategies with state and local stakeholders.
• Develop and nurture relationships with key partners, industry associations, legislative and executive bodies, and nonprofits.
• Communicate policy priorities effectively and provide feedback on policy initiatives.
• Draft policy and background materials for meetings and engagements.
• Travel extensively within the state and across all 50 states, with 2–5 trips per month during sessions.
