Job summary

biBerk and THREE by Berkshire Hathaway seek a Senior State Filings Representative to ensure compliance with state insurance laws across all states. You will coordinate with state departments, manage external reporting, and align product filings with regulatory requirements.

The role supports collaboration with Product, Underwriting, and Compliance teams to keep filings current and accurate, with remote work possible and travel 1–2 times per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent of combined education and experience.
• 1–3 years of state product filing experience in the P&C industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with multiple projects and tight deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and guidance on product compliance with state insurance laws.
• Conduct filing activity in SERFF.
• Respond to regulatory objections with state departments and follow-ups.
• Inform teams of changes in forms and compliance issues affecting products.
• Collaborate with Compliance to ensure customer assessments and surcharges remain current.
