Job summary

Winixx Inc. is seeking a Senior Standard Library Engineer to design and build the core standard library for .wnx, including collections, concurrency primitives, error handling, and I/O.

You will shape API conventions and ensure interoperability with Kotlin/Java AOSP APIs, while collaborating with the Studio team to optimize autocomplete and developer experience. Bring 5+ years of library/framework experience, strong technical writing, and a degree in Computer Science to our founding-team effort

• Strong API design instincts for daily use by developers.
• Experience with concurrency primitives and safe API design.
• Familiarity with interop between managed language runtimes is a plus.
• Excellent technical writing and documentation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

About Winixx

Winixx Inc. is a New York-based technology holding company operating a portfolio of over 35 SaaS platforms across freight, fleet management, financial infrastructure, and market intelligence. We are building WinixxOS — a distinctive, AOSP-based operating system powering a full lineup of consumer hardware — and, over a multi-year horizon, .wnx, a proprietary programming language designed to be announced alongside WinixxOS. This is founding-team language engineering: you would be shaping the core type system, memory model, and syntax of a new language from its very first version, not extending someone else's spec.

Role Summary

The Senior Standard Library Engineer designs and builds .wnx's core standard library — collections, concurrency primitives, error handling, and I/O — the part of the language developers touch most often day to day.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement core standard library modules: collections, concurrency, error handling, I/O
• Establish API design conventions for the standard library, in line with the language's overall philosophy
• Ensure standard library APIs interoperate cleanly with existing Kotlin/Java AOSP APIs
• Collaborate with the Tooling/LSP team to ensure standard library APIs surface well in Winixx Studio's autocomplete
• Write comprehensive documentation and usage examples for every public API
• Gather feedback from early internal users (Studio and SDK teams) and iterate on API ergonomics

Individual pay within the posted range is determined by a candidate's demonstrated experience, educational background, skill set, and geographic location. Final compensation is established at the time of offer and may fall anywhere within the stated range based on these factors.
