Job summary

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) seeks a Senior Program Manager to serve as the principal acquisition advisor to the USSOCOM SOPGM program and Deputy at Eglin AFB and in Tampa, FL.

You will lead IPTs and drive acquisition strategies for fielding complex weapon systems on AFSOC aircraft. The role requires 5+ years in defense acquisition, deep DoD/USSOCOM process knowledge, and the ability to brief senior government leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in defense acquisition/PM roles.
• Demonstrated DoD and USSOCOM acquisition knowledge and procedures.
• Experience leading IPTs and advising senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Serve as principal program management advisor to USSOCOM PEO-FW SOPGM Program Manager and Deputy.
• Lead one or more weapon system programs from inception to fielding.
• Drive acquisition strategy, development, fielding, integration, and sustainment of complex weapon systems.
• Coordinate with CADs to translate operational requirements into technical specifications.
• Manage program documentation, schedules, test plans, and fielding requirements.
• Develop long-term program strategies and capability roadmaps.
• Occasional travel to support program activities.
