Job summary

Freudenberg-NOK General Partnership seeks a process engineering professional to develop, implement, and improve stamping processes and tooling. You will analyze data to optimize workflows, review KPI systems, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

You will support NPI activities, ensure compliance with HSE requirements, and collaborate with stamping contractors to meet product specifications.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or equivalent required.
Minimum 5 years of stamping process and die design or equivalent experience required.
Experience in Steel stamping process, die design, other tooling for process improvements – technologies: Compound, Progressive, and Transfer.
Knowledge of Lean System tools and its methodologies; Six Sigma Green Belt or Red-X Apprentice preferred.
Proficiency in CAD and/ or UG for reading, creating and editing drawings (manual and/or CAD), with knowledge of GD&T (ASME 14.5 – 1982).

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, maintain, and improve stamping processes and tooling.
Input and analyze numerical data to identify patterns for optimal workflow and process development.
Review KPI monitoring systems and leverage technology to achieve goals.
Drive and champion a continuous improvement culture within the team.
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities to prepare products or processes for launch.
Ensure compliance with all local, legal, and Freudenberg Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements.
Design stamping dies, and other tooling for process improvements.
Communicate with stamping contractors and vendors regarding product specifications and requirements.
