Job summary

Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies, located in Cleveland, GA, is seeking a Senior Stamping Process Engineer on-site. You will develop and optimize stamping processes, analyze data to improve workflows, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing KPI systems.

You will design stamping dies and tooling, ensure HSE compliance, and collaborate with stamping contractors to meet product specifications during NPI activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years stamping process and die design experience.
• Experience in steel stamping, die design, and tooling for process improvement.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Red-X Apprentice preferred.
• Proficiency in CAD/UG with GD&T knowledge.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, maintain, and improve stamping process capabilities.
• Input and analyze numerical data to identify patterns for optimal workflow.
• Review KPI monitoring systems and leverage technology to achieve goals.
• Drive and champion a continuous improvement culture within the team.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities for launches.
• Ensure compliance with local, legal, and Freudenberg HSE requirements.
• Design stamping dies and tooling for process improvements.
• Communicate with stamping contractors and vendors on specs.
