Job summary

Apex Water and Process Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a skilled Pipe Welder to fabricate and assemble stainless steel piping systems per ASME standards. The role requires GTAW and FCAW, tight tolerance parts, and reading project plans.

Qualifications

• Five years of pipe welding experience in fabrication/manufacturing.
• Ability to achieve ASME Section IX welder qualifications in GTAW and FCAW.
• Read and interpret safety data sheets and engineering drawings.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
• Strong knowledge of metals and welding techniques.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret project plans, blueprints and work instructions.
• Prepare materials, bevel, drill, and weld per specifications.
• Follow WPS and record weld traveler details.
• Inspect equipment and components for defects.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Overtime as needed to support customer demand.
